Flower Girl Dresses

If you are a  frequent reader of my blogs, you must know by now that my daughter, who is also my co-author on this blog, love to dress up.  I remember when she was still little, her favorite  thing to do is for us to play dress up.  We bought her a set of  Princess costume and she would wear them frequently.  She would always encourage me to dress up as well.  I can't believe that she is  growing up so fast.  I wish I could hold on to her and not let her grow up yet.  I will be missing some fun times.  This post is making me nostalgic and makes me want to cry.
Anyway, have you ever seen these lovely flower girl dresses online?  My oh my, they are super pretty!  Oh I wish my little girl can wear any of these as they are beautiful. They have so many designs that I love.  Below are just some of the most eye catching ones that  captivated  my eyes.  Seeing little girls dressed  beautifully  while they walk down the aisle during  weddings are just  precious moments.   I always admire  parents who get marry when their kids are old enough to be part of the ceremony.

Keeping Fit During Pregnancy

The best thing to do when you are pregnant and considering exercise is to consult your doctor or a fitness expert to help get you started. It can be difficult to know what to do when you are pregnant, you need someone who has been trained in exercise for pregnant women. People tend to have lots of different opinions on what you should and shouldn’t be doing. Find a personal trainer who can guide you through doing exercise throughout your pregnancy. Here are a few basic tips for keeping fit during pregnancy.

If you have done sport and exercise all your life then that doesn’t mean you have to stop and do nothing whilst you are pregnant. In fact it’s better to continue exercising gently and at a lower intensity. You still need to keep your body healthy and active and you won’t do this by sitting on the sofa all day long.

However, if you have never really done much exercise all your life then starting when you become pregnant isn’t the best time to begin. Avoid a rigorous exercise regime if your body is not used to it. It’s simply not the right time to try and get fit. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t do any exercise at all, you can still do some basic things to keep you mobile. Try a beginners programme and don’t push yourself too much.

Another important point to remember is that you are carrying much more weight than usual, so don’t get immediately concerned if you get a little out of breath. It’s normal to feel tired quickly and be slightly out of breath. Although if it is severe or gets worse then stop exercising and seek medical advice.

Pregnant women should have their blood pressure checked regularly. This is especially important if you are doing exercise, check your blood pressure often and if it is too high then do not train. It is dangerous particularly in your third trimester if you have high blood pressure.

Remember when you are pregnant the idea is not to get super fit, this is never going to be possible and will put too much pressure on your body. When you are pregnant the main focus is simply to maintain your fitness and to try and stay as fit and healthy as possible.

You should try and do functional exercises that will help you to keep strong for everyday life. This should help you during labour because your body is slightly more prepared for it physically.

Do not do any exercises lying on your front or on your back as this is not good for you and the baby. Another thing to remember is that it is crucial that you don’t overheat during training, so if you feel yourself getting too hot and exhausted then stop right away.

Another thing you can work on while you are pregnant is your posture. Posture and stability are both important for everyday life and when you are training. Remember that your weight distribution is very different when pregnant so you might need something to hold on to or be sitting down whilst doing certain exercises. Get your personal trainer to help you with your posture and support whilst doing exercises.

When you do stretching don’t push yourself too hard or try and improve your stretching too much because your body is more supple in certain areas when pregnant to prepare for the birth. Just do ten seconds on each exercise and don’t push your limits, gentle stretching is fine.

One thing you can do a lot of is pelvic floor exercises. This will help you during giving birth and afterwards because your muscles get used to being worked. They are also more likely to go back to normal afterwards. Remember to keep doing them after you give birth.

Before each workout make sure you are fuelled properly so that you have enough energy to do a workout. You may also want to have a snack bar handy in case you feel weak during training. It’s also important to have a good meal after training to replace your energy stores.

Exercising doesn’t just have physical benefits, it can have mental benefits too. It can relieve stress and take your mind off being uncomfortable for a while. You will also feel better after a light workout.

Guitar

Ms. Burrito asked if I can post this in her blog so here it is.  She made this when she first got her  glue gun.  I am not a crafty person and I am so glad that my daughter got  her Dad's side of the family's creativity.

She used two bottle caps for the base and covered it with her  craft foam.  For the string, she used her glue.

Materials used  are craft foam, beads, bottle caps, glue stick, glue gun, and Popsicle stick.

She wants to  learn how to play a violin and guitar.  We told her to  concentrate ion piano for now  and then she can shift into the violin lesson later on.

Happy Birthday Mr. Burrito!

Look who is turning 7 tomorrow, it's Mr. Burrito, yay!  I asked him to pose for me  so I can have a decent photo to post in here but he just goofed off so I just click, click, clicked!  Oh Mr. Burrito where do I begin?

7 Wonderful Years

The moment I felt your presence inside me
I knew that you are going to be different
You were so active even inside my tummy
So glad that we have you with us.
You might not get along with  big sister sometimes
But you certainly make her  complete and happy
It's funny that you make her crazy at times
But at the end of the day, she loves you dearly.
You leap, you skip, you do tricks and use up your energy
You make us laugh, you make us proud, you make us giddy.
We are so glad that we  stood our ground  to KEEP you
and we did not let anyone do a study on you.
Seven years is filled  with laughter with you around.
Life will be so dull without you
I thank God everyday for you
I thank God that He gave us a wonderful YOU!
Always remember that we love you
Daddy, Mommy, and Ate  adores you.
We will always be here for you
Stay sweet Mr. Burrito!
You taught us many things
to dance even when you are tired,
to laugh even if you want to cry
and to forgive every single time.
We love you to bits Mr. Burrito.
Seven Wonderful years of having you is a gift
A precious gift that I will forever treasure
For the rest of my life.

LOVE,
~ Mommy ~

New Zealand Paradise

If you are planning to explore the beautiful view that you see below, you should check out the Campervans for Sale so that when you are there or living in Auckland already, you will be able enjoy hopping from place to another.  Isn't New Zealand a paradise?  My husband is asking me why I keep looking at the properties for sale in New Zealand and I told him that I am just admiring how beautiful the landscape and everything is  at this country.  I mean who would want to see it, right?  I bet there are so many  fun and exciting places out there to explore and enjoy.

I am sure that there are Property Lawyers Auckland that  can help if you have any  issues or questions about properties in Auckland.  Hot Chef Equipment won't be a problem either because there are so many  online supplier where you can buy everything that you need.  I hope and wish that even if we don't have the chance to live in New Zealand, that we would be able to visit it.

This year, my family are planning to explore the local  tourist spots that we haven't been  to,  We won't do any major trips as we have to save for the trip that we want  next year.  Hopefully we will be able to save or else  we can't do any.    How about you guys, any major travel plans this year?  Are you planning to have a vacation in Europe or in Asia?  It is always fun to travel but it always  comes with and expensive cost so no matter how much we a want to, we can't travel  as frequent as we  like.

I am missing my family back home and I want to be able to visit  while my Mom is still strong.  The only thing that is holding us up is the cost of traveling for all  of us.  The plane ticket is too much and in order to be able for us to visit, we have to  save a ton.  I wish I could  win a lottery even just for  once so I will be able to   pay off my debts and  travel the places I want to.  That would be great, isn't it?  If that happens, I would be able to  visit and enjoy the beautiful country of New Zealand with my family.  Oh boy, I better stop day dreaming hahaha.

Sweet Shoppe Play-Doh

Ms. Burrito has been wanting to have this ice cream  machine  playdoh but I told her to wait so Santa can bring it to her on Christmas.  When her teacher asked them to  write what they want from their secret santa last December, she wrote this one.  She never expected to get it since the   budget limit for their secret santa is $5.  However, the  boy who got her name bought  a whole set of this for her, she was ecstatic.

It's funny because hubby and I already bought one for her so we returned it and got her  another gift instead.  She and her brother have fun using this playdoh machine.  This is one of the things that  entertained them during their school break.

Toy companies really knows how top sell to kids aren't they?

4 Reasons An Inflatable Pool Is A Great Option For Harsh Winter Regions

Many people dislike inflatable pools because they are small and not as stable as aboveground or in-ground pools, but these can be great assets if you know how to use them. Harsh winter regions are much colder than other areas of the world, and properly winterizing a pool can be very tough. If you don’t want to go through the hassle, then an inflatable pool might be the right choice.
Easy to Move
Inflatable pools are very easy to move. First of all, they are much smaller than other pools. Even the biggest inflatable pools don’t compare to an average aboveground pool. This makes them very light and easy to move. If the temperature is getting too cold, then just deflate the pool and put it in your garage or shed. This opens up the backyard, and it keeps you from maintaining the pool.

They also don’t have much water. If you have a conventional pool, then you have to worry about hundreds to thousands of gallons of water. You have to winterize the water, constantly balance its pH and hope that the water doesn’t freeze and damage the pool’s body. Emptying an inflatable pool is easy. Just flip it over and wait a few seconds.

These pools also don’t have a foundation, which makes them easy to move when winter comes around. No one would call in-ground or aboveground pools mobile, which means that you have to prepare them for the cold weather. This won’t even be an issue with an inflatable pool. The lack of foundation means that the pool can move at any time, and you can place it wherever you want.

No Winterizing
Winterizing your pool can be difficult, even if you don’t have a harsh winter. You have to worry about the chemicals, the filter, the pool cover and everything else. If you don’t properly winterize the pool, then the water can freeze, the foundation can be destroyed, algae can grow throughout the winter and you’ll lose your investment.

You don’t have to do this with an inflatable pool. When you’re ready to close the pool, just remove the water and place it somewhere safe. It’s a lot easier than going through conventional winterization.

Less Expensive
Pools are not made for harsh winters. They are only enjoyed in the warmer months, and the water doesn’t do very well in the cold. This is why winterization is so intensive. You are doing your best to keep the pool from being damaged. At the same time, even the best preparations may not save your pool if your winters are very harsh.

This means that you might have to spend a lot of money on costly repairs, and your investment might be ruined. A conventional pool costs at least several thousand dollars, but in-ground pools can be tens of thousands of dollars when you consider the pool’s body and installation. Even the smallest problem can lead to a lot of lost money.

If the winter does affect or destroy your inflatable pool, then you won’t lose much money. Even the most expensive ones are just several hundred dollars, but most of them are about $100 to $200 depending on the size and durability.

No Filters
Pool filters are also in danger from the cold. Not only can the cold winds damage the filter, but they can lead to much worse problems with in-ground pools. Many in-ground pools have permanent filters that are installed via pipes. If there is any water in these pipes, then it might freeze and burst the pipes during winter. This costs a lot of money, and it can also cause your pool to completely drain.

The majority of inflatable pools don’t have filters, which ensures that you don’t have to worry about this problem. Bigger ones might come with a filter, but the filters are usually very small and easy to move.

Conclusion
It’s true that inflatable pools are much smaller than above ground or in-ground models, but this isn’t always a bad thing. If you live in a very cold environment, then these pools can be quite useful. Not only can you avoid winterization, but the likelihood of your pool being damaged is very low.
