Kids, You've Been Good This Year! Personalized Books from iSeeMe #ProductReview

Our kids have been so good in school.  We are very happy that they are  thriving so well and have good grades.  I can say that being a stay-at-home-mom really help them a lot because  hubby and I guide them through.  My kids are like night and day.  My daughter love to  sit and study but my son is  the opposite.  I used to  be strict on him but I realized that  all I am doing is  damage his confidence so I let him do whatever he needs to do and  not worry about it.  The result is amazing even though he doesn't study as much as his sister does.  It's not as  perfect as his sister but still a straight A student so I am so proud of both of  our kids.
To reward their  best efforts in school, I am putting up a good Christmas basket for them fir all the hard work they do in school.  One of those  nice things I am including are personalized books from I See Me.
For our daughter, I got her the  "Night Before Christmas"  and for our son, it's the "A Christmas Bear for Me".  MY kids love anything personalized.  They always say that they will keep and take good care of it so they can pass  it down to their own kids someday.  That always makes me happy that they think that way.
My son has always something in his  hand when he goes to bed.  Things that he likes like car or his favorite Lego that he build or stuff like that.   I think that this book,  A Chrsitmas Bear for Me, will be perfect for him because it came with a little soft bear that he can hold on to when he goes to sleep.
I really love iSeeMe's books because of the personalization.  You can customized it with names and dedications.
The illustration on these books are awesome.  Nothing can make  a child very happy to see their names on the book, people that they know and care about.
This would really make my son very happy.  To be able to see his name in every page of the book is magical.
He would flip to see this  note from Santa Claus.  He will think that is so cool.
I know that my  daughter is a little older for this kind of book but she always   appreciates  this things.  She loves customized gifts just like her brother.  They are both like me as I love personalized gifts as well.  My Night Before Chrsitmas book would make her day.  It has the names of her friends ans I included her photo with her  guinea pig, Dunkin on the first page.
I really love that you can customize these books.  You can  put your place,  your pets, friends., and family
I wish I have  these kind of books when I was a kid.   would have been thrilled!
If you want to consider giving these  great books for your children this Christmas, now is the time to get them.  You can enjoy a 20% discount  through using coupon code IMAGINATION at the checkout.

The school is celebrating Spirit Week this week so they get to   enjoy  days without wearing uniform depending on the them  for the day.  Today is Disney It Up day so they wore their Mickey and Minnie Mouse shirts.  My son actually has no Mickey mouse shirt so what I did is print out  a MM image and  put it in his shirt  with the little help from labeling supplies.

Grades of my Burritos

My kids came home  last Friday with their  report cards.  Both of them have excellent grades which makes me very happy.  All that extra time  of studying with them is worth every minute.  Below is Ms. Burrito's grades/ratings for the second  grading.

The little man is doing great as well.  I am now at peace that my son would do as good as his sister does.  He just don't have that drive that she has but with me and my husband's guidance and help, he will  do very good (I hope).

Our son wants to be tested for the gifted program as well but I am not sure if he is ready for it.

Outdoor Enjoyment

We visited  Dad last Tuesday after  Ms. Burrito's  dental appointment.  The kids played in the backyard using  the wagon that my SIL, Chris made for them years ago.  The Mister just want to ride, poor little Miss has to drag the wagon even on the steep hill lol.  She's pretty strong though.

After we visited  Dad, we  dropped by at the recycling  place downtown and  sold some aluminum cans.  While hubby is dealing with the  cans, I accompanied my Burritos to a nearby  river and they  throw rocks in it.  They love the splashing sound when the rock hits the water.  It's amazing how the simplest things can bring so much joy to children.  They were overjoyed that  even for a short period of time, they get to bond with nature.  This is just one of the many outdoor activities that they love.

On the other note, we were so happy to see the fourth  grading marks of our kids.  They both have  great remarks from the teachers and outstanding grades.

Kids at their Best

Mr. Burrito is getting serious with his study now, he realized that it is a real deal now and  he can no longer slack off  just like when I was teaching him at home.  I am glad that Ms. Burrito is very much willing to help hi little brother  learn how to read.  Here's my kids at theiir best, reading books together.
Below is their progress report.

I am so surprised that he  is doing really well, he even have an outstanding  one.  I guess I underestimated   my son's  ability.

Scholastic Printables

I was so happy that both of my kiddos are doing  excellent in school.  They brought home their first  progress report and  was so pleased to see their ratings.  Now, I can say that it's all wort it when I decided to teach them at home instead of sending them to school for their pre-school year.  When they entered kindergarten, they  are   ready for the challenges.  I even got a  praise from my daughter saying "You're the best teacher Mom!"  I feel good that I  taught them the basic stuff that they need to learn before they started  the "real" school.   The great thing about teaching your kids is that you can basically get materials such as  math worksheets for 4th graders online.  These tools are really helpful for an effective teaching whether at the school or at home.  Scholastic Printables offer a wide range of topics that covers  different subjects from Pre-K to 8th grade.  So if you ever  need some materials to use  in your teaching activity, check out the  link I have provided above, they have plenty of useful materials.  Below are the report cards of my kids.

Victory

Remember the previous post I made here about my daughter's disappointment of her grade during the first grading? Will she was so determined to make it a hundred and she did. She brought her report card again last week and was so happy that ll of the subjects have now a hundred percent.
Here she is celebrating her VICTORY. I hope that she would continue his drive in achieving her goals in the future. I wish you all the best Anak! Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you.

Learning how to Shop on a Budget

Our little first grader student had a straight A grades on the first quarter or first grading on her report card. We are so proud of you Ms. Burrito, we as parents are so happy to have a little scholar. I hope that she would continue to do good in school. We love you!

She is a little disappointed about her Science/Health grade because it is the lowest one but we told her that it's okay. It is still an A so it doesn't mater, beside she can still improve it. She loves Science that's why she was bummed out.
Pardon for the messy hair, she just arrived from school when I took the photos. She was very excited to show us her report card so we opened it up at the porch.
Next week will be their Santa's Secret Shopping at St. Joseph School. Parents and teachers organize this event every year to teach the kids on how to shop for gifts on a budget. Last year, Ms. Burrito shopped for Pap, her brother, and her Aunt Chris. This year, she is shopping for Pap and for her brother.
