First Communion

Another milestone has passed in one of our  precious  child's age.  Our youngest turned 5 years old today which means that he will  start  going to  school this year.  With the lessons we were having at home, I  am  confident that he is now ready to  enter  kindergarten.  Another big milestone is about to happen to our   daughter, she will be having  her first communion sometime in May of this year.  I have been looking around  for some white dress that she can wear so that when the  time is here,  it will be ready. The first graders at St. Joe school will receive their first communion when they are in first grade.  Something that my daughter  is looking forward to so she could also partake during the communion  ceremony at church during masses.

Some parents  celebrate this occasion with big party so they invite  friends and family for a big gathering.     If you are planning to  have Communion invitations  sent out to your friends and family, check out the First Communion invitations at Communion Cards website.  They have a so many selections of different designs  for both boys First Communion invitations and for girls.    In a couple of years,  our son will  have his first communion too so it is nice to find these resources online.  So far, I only found  one store here in our area that sells  outfits  for communion but I am still looking around.  You can celebrate your child's journey  with a savings of 20% off by using  the coupon code SAVE at Communion Cards.

I remember when my husband had his first communion.  He  had it before we got married at church.  He was a very lucky man to receive four important blessing that day at church which includes baptism, first communion, confirmation, and the sacrament of  wedding.  I am glad he turned into the religion that I am because we are now  practicing one as a family.

Ms. Burrito got a pretty hello kitty jacket from the Brady family, thanks Sofie!

She got so many pink stuff  received  last Christmas.  I will post the  others next time. I just want to post this one real quick, I am a little busy starting today until Saturday for my son's  5th birthday.   I just got done cleaning and  organizing a little bit.  Will polish everything tomorrow.

Zing

Zing  means to move with a high-pitched hum.  The SJS choir  are really good in doing the Zing during the  Christmas Eve mass.  Ms. Burrito was one of the choirs who sung on the said mass.
It's amaZing how the church can be so full  during Christmas masses but    shrinks back when the holiday is over.  Our church was packed that night,  even the  balcony part was occupied and the sides were both packed.

We received a  Thank You note from the music teacher  and Principal of the school saying that those students who sang at the mas will have a lunch treat on Wednesday.  That's very nice of them.

Fur Friends

Hi everyone, happy weekend.  Mom authorized me to post one on the weekends as long as I am done with my  homework.  Some of my  classmates and also my friends were dressed as  dog and cat.  My friend J   has a dog outfit and  beow that is my friend  A wearing a cat outfit.

Now this is  our favorite fur baby, he is a very good dog.  I love Champ because even if I dressed him up or put something to him like necklace or something, he does not mind at all.  We love you Champ!

Yearbook

We ordered a copy of the yearbook when Ms. Burrito was in Kindergarten.  Some of her favorite classmates last year has   transferred to  St. Paul's this school year so she's glad that she has a reference to look back too.
Most of the schools has a 2-hour delay today which makes Ms. Burrito a little lighter as she is not very fond of  waking up early.

Beneath the Shining Star

First of all I want to wish you all a happy new year.  May God bless us with good health and lots of  blessings in the coming year of the dragon!  This is my last  entry here because I have to return to school in a couple of days.  I will be blogging again (hopefully if Mom permits, during school break).

Below are the photos that my Mom took during our Christmas play at my school.  It was held last December the 14th at our Gymnasium.  The play was called "Beneath the Shining Star", my role was an Inn Keeper.  Kindergarten and  First Graders are the main cast for this play every year.  So this was my last of participation but I am excited  for my brothr next year!
I am always   happy when my family comes to our activities, it makes me perform well.  My  partner was  sick the whole time we were practicing so  I sung most of our part.  The night before  our play, I pray that my friend Gavin will be there  and He  listened to my prayer.
The  kindergarten wore their angel costumes.  I felt so bad for one of them because  she cried the whole time she was at the stage performing.  I think she has a stage fright.
Over all, I love the result of our performance.  Above is my ever kind and supportive teacher, Mrs. Gain.
Thanks to Mrs. Bernardi for patiently teaching us all the songs and to our teachers as well.
Below  are the videos that Mom and Dad recorded.

Yuletide season brings a lot of happiness to a lot of people.

Baby Hats

Children looks adorable when they wear baby hat, don't they?  I remember when my daughter was still small, my sister in law used to make her dresses  with matching hats.
I miss those days,  she used to love wearing hats but  she seldom  do that now that she is a little bigger.
There are toddler hats that you can buy  for your kids at Baby Hat website.  They have  baby hats  for different ages from  new born to  toddlers.
See how she enjoys wearing hats?  "I am cute don't I?"
If you want to buy some trendy hats for your tots or new born babies, the above mentioned companies has so many selections that you can browse.  I am sure that you will like  their  items as they are really cute.  Boys and girls  hat is available so no matter what gender your baby has, you can get them a really adorable hat at Baby Hats website.
