Wacky Hat Day

Hello everyone, this is Ms. Burrito. My Mom granted me to blog while on our school break. I really love to write and I miss blogging. In fact, I have wrote some short stories when Mommy told me to take a break from blogging.  She said she is going to publish them here but I don't know if she did  already.  Well they are very shot ones   but I enjoy writing them.  I also write my diary everyday.  Mommy said  it would give me time to really practice my writing skills and she is right.
During our School's spirit week, we had a wacky hat day so Mommy borrowed Tita Chris' head costume and wrapped it around her hat which I used.
My classmates and  some teachers liked my wacky but colorful hat!

My school is so much fun.  They give us a lot of stuff to do and learn.

Holiday School Photo

During the Santa's Secret Shopping at Ms. Burrito's school, they were given a chance to have their individual picture taken at the Christmas tree where they hang all their wishes written at a small card. I am glad someone offered to do this for one dollar fee (for every child that wants a picture) because I wasn't there to take a picture of her.

Victory

Remember the previous post I made here about my daughter's disappointment of her grade during the first grading? Will she was so determined to make it a hundred and she did. She brought her report card again last week and was so happy that ll of the subjects have now a hundred percent.
Here she is celebrating her VICTORY. I hope that she would continue his drive in achieving her goals in the future. I wish you all the best Anak! Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you.

Waiting

While waiting for their dance lesson, I took some photos of Ms. Burritos and her friends beside Cassey Sister's studio hall.
The gifts under the tree are for less fortunate kids.
Next week will be Ms. Burrito's last dance lesson for this year, the studio will resume their classes on January 2, 2012.

Below is Mr. Burritos Modeling Clay creation.
Thanks everyone for visiting!

Love for Gardening

Ever since I was a kid, I  always love  gardening.  My Mom would always tell me to  plant vegetables  at our backyard  but I was more interested in planting   ornamental ones to help beautify our small shanty.  When I came here in  the US, all the plants are very unfamiliar to me so I have to always look for tips on gardening from different sources online.
I found some beautiful  arrangement of flowers online so if you are planning to buy your wife, your girlfriend, or your  Mom, check out the  internet flowers available at Serenata Flowers.  You can easily make your order and surprise your love one  with a beautiful  bouquet.  My husband used to surprise me with a bouquet when I was still living in the Philippines and he was stationed in Guam.  He would order it online and have it delivered at the school where a I work and   my friends would tease me for it.  It was great memory!

Nature Play at its Best

My previous post about how fun raking leaves can be, has won 10th place from the Parents and Play contest that was sponsored by the Kaboom.org. You may see their post about it in this url. http://kaboom.org/blog/nature_play_its_best . Kaboom is an organization that promotes the importance of play in children's overall growth. If you are a parent and you want to be involve with their programs, check them out.
But anyhow, below is a ballerina ornament we bought for our daughter last year. She wasn't dancing yet then, she just started this summer. We buy each of our kids something every year so that when we are putting up our Christmas tree, it would remind them of the previous years.
Thank you for visiting

Undeniably Sweet

These burritos constantly picks on each other but at the end of the day, they are undeniably sweet. Whenever they can't sleep from their own beds, they sleep together and then hubby and I would just separate them before we go to bed.

Have a great week everyone.
