Pool Party

We were suppose to go to Idlewild for Ms. Burrito's birthday but my  SIL Jill called us that they are having a  party on that day so we just decided to  hold her party there.  I was glad too as it was sooo hot that day and the swimming pool was perfect for the  hot weather not to mention that she got to bond with  their cousins.

She was very happy that  her Grandpa went with us as well.

With  her brother's gift (floaties), she conquered her fear of going to the  deep part of the pool.  She used to be scared going in the middle.

The pool party was a blast.

Birthday Shopping Spree

We told our daughter that we will take her shopping for her birthday gift and she agreed.

We got her  bathing suit,  two pair of earrings, two pair of dress shoes, and a dress.

Her brother got her   a pair of floaties.

I tried  to zoom the lens to showcase her butterfly designed earrings.

 Sometimes it scares me that she thinks like a 17 year old and not a 7 year old lol.

We celebrated her birthday with family at my BIL's swimming pool in  Chester.  We had a blast although it was soooo hot that day!

Sweet Seven Years

Time do flies so fast. My little princess is turning 7 years old this weekend and I feel like it was just yesterday when I have her in my arms and nursing her.

A Boy and a Girl

 Having  two children is a joy.  My friends  back home  keeps teasing me to  add more kids but for me a boy and a girl is perfect.  It's not that I don't like     kids, I do love kids but  I am   concern of their future.  It is not  just the responsibility you have for the time being but you have to think of their  future in general.

Crochet

Ms Burrito is getting hooked with crocheting.  Even when she just wake up, she would start doing it already lol.

My FIL gave her a bunch of  yarn so  she got inspired to make some leg warmers.  She uses the machine that Dad gave her too.  Here are some of her creations.  We used some of  the short leg warmer  to make pencil  holder by recycling  empty bottles of water and the lid of the  fabric softener.

I used some of their  small toys to accesories it.  

Crocheting is an X-cellent  hobby for little girls during summer break.  Keeps them busy and  at the same time eXercise their creativity.  Okay, I know that those aren't real X words but here is a good one, Xenophobia,  an irrational fear of  foreigners or strangers.  

She is very proud of what she created..  Her kitchen should have one too, of curse hehehe.

My daughter is the type that  won't sit around and do nothing.  She constantly  look for things that she could do.  She reminds me of my mother who never want to  take a rest.
