Child's Happiness

I showed these  photos of my kids to a colleague and  she said in disbelief "You let your kids play in the leaves?  Do you know how much dust is in it?"  I told her that  my kids enjoy it and that a little dust  won't hurt them.  What matters to me is the fact that they  can enjoy what mother nature has to offer.  I personally think that this is better than letting your kids just sit in front of the TV or playing  games.  This is a good exercise for them both physically and emotionally.

As long as you clean  them up after they play and  let them eat healthy foods, they are okay.  Child's happiness comes in many forms and this is one of them.

  1. Very true, mommy! You can never go back to the time they were kids. And these experiences can teach them a lot of lessons. :)

  3. Yes, I don't think there is something wrong with letting kids play with leaves or get dirty once in a while. I pity your colleague, she must be very over-protective with her kids..

  12. Kids are just being kids and something like this really makes them happy. As long as it does not endanger them it is just fine for me.

  13. I agree! :P Besides, you only get to do things like these once in a while, and a little dust won't hurt anyone, as long as you clean up after. :)

  17. I also let my kids play with the leaves and I don't find something wrong with it. It's just a matter of hygiene instilling to the kids.
