We have been spending time outside most of the time, even our siesta time is being spent outside. The cherry tree that we planted in our front yard provides shade so we decided to hang out there last Friday. We just laid out a blanket, bring some snack, and we had fun.
The kids found this piece of bone, I think a dog brought it in our yard. They thought that somebody was buried there lol. They were also fascinated with the lady bug who kept us entertained the whole time because it keep flying away then land on the bone.
We bought this cherry tree online some six years ago and we thought that it won't grow because it was just a small stick when it was delivered. It is now tall and big although it hasn't bloom yet.
Happiness lies on how you spend quality time with your kids, not the amount of material things they get.

one of the homeschooling method's believe that children should spend more time outdoors to discover the world around them and learn from it that way. i can see that is true with your kids as they learn from a simple trip to your backyard! :DReplyDelete
