Keeping Your Child's Things Separate From their Friends

There is a really good chance that your children own quite a few things. The more children you have, the more things they will own. It could be rather simple things like clothing, toys or other personal items. When your children have friends over, or when they spend some time at a friend's house, there is a really good chance that there will be some confusion over whose items are whose. If your children's clothing gets mixed up, how are you going to be able to tell them apart? This can become a huge problem, but there is a very easy solution to this problem. You can label all of the children's things. This is a simple solution, but how do you get the proper labels. You could always just use a permanent marker and label all of their things by hand, or you can go a completely different route with the labels.

 Custom Labels

 The only real problem with labeling your children's things is this. Most kids don't like the idea of having their name written inside their clothing with a magic marker. They also don't like their toys or other personal items being labeled and written on either. There is an easy way to fix this all too common problem. That is where custom labels come in handy.

 There are custom labels that kids will actually enjoy. These labels have been designed specifically with children in mind. Ms Burrito recently made a crossbow out of paper.  She watched the tutorial on Youtube and she made one which she was very proud.  I figured, she would love to have this one as it is complete already and she doesn't have to make it herself.

Mr. Burrito love to  tear apart  some of his cars so he can re-build it and this Xtreme Custom Kit would be  a perfect one for him to work on.

 Start with the Basics

 No matter what, your baby is going to have certain basic needs. We all eat, sleep and wear clothes – your baby included. Keeping this in mind, you’ll need to choose items accordingly:

 A place to sleep – You have several options ranging from a bassinette to your own bed. However, two popular options are a crib and a portable bed (such as Graco’s Pack N’ Play).  Food to eat – No matter if you plan on bottle or breast feeding, there are still plenty of items you will need. A large pillow (such as a Boppy pillow) is a great item and burp cloths are a must. Formula fed babies will need plenty of bottles and the wherewithal to clean and sterilize them. Breast feeding moms will appreciate having a pump and storage containers for milk.

 Diapers – Whether you choose disposable diapers or a diaper service, you’ll still need something to put on your baby’s bottom. You’ll also need plenty of wipes along with a container for soiled diapers. 

Clothes to wear – Babies go through a lot of clothing – much more than you would think. Between spitting up and diaper explosions, your baby can go through more clothing changes than Lady Gaga during a live performance. You can never have too many onesies.

 Have a Little Fun

 Once your baby’s basic needs are covered, why not have a little fun? After all, there’s more to putting together a nursery than taking care of bare essentials. Indulge your baby and yourself with a stylish nursery decorated with a fun theme such as nature, a favorite story character or a pleasing color palette. After all, you and your baby deserve the best.

Trio Thanksgiving Treat

I attended the  Thanksgiving  lunch of the three classes (Pre-K, Kindergarten, and First Grade) at my  children's school last November 19, 2012.  I wasn't assigned as  homeroom mom volunteer but I went anyway because I did not want  my son to feel like I am neglecting his functions as he saw how I was very active with his sister before.

There are many Moms who attended as well which makes the little ones very happy.
