Summer 2015 Fun at Hershey Park

We will be transitioning into a big change  this year so  traveling is not in our list.  We might just  bring the kids somewhere near in our local area so they can have fun but  we won't be doing far distance travel, that's for sure.
These photos were taken from our summer getaway last year.  We went to Hershey Park where the kids had  a blast.  I am so glad that they are big enough to go on rides but I still worry when I can't see them anymore  when they go up and get ready to go down.  With so many crazy things happening in this world, you can't help but  worry.
I always say a prayer when they  are out of my sight that they will be safe.  Most of the times, my husband would go with them but   he runs out of gas too  sometimes and we let the kids go on their own.  It is  good to give them the sense of freedom and make them feel like  they are adult.  You still have to tell them the dos and don'ts when it comes to dealing with strangers and I am glad that they  understand that part.
When it comes to water, kids does not feel cold.   The adrenaline that they have is enough to warm their body up, no matter how long they stay in the water.Hopefully we could  bring the kids somewhere fun again this year even  just in the local areas.

  2. That's so true about kids not feeling the cold water. When I lived in San Diego, we used to go to the beach and the water would be freezing! But it was always full of kids ... they don't care, they just want to have fun in the ocean! It looks like your kids had a ball at Hershey!

  17. They look like they are having fun. I agree with you that kids don't seem to care about the cold water. I've noticed that from my nieces and nephew.
